About Dr Melinda Barva
Dr Melinda Barva graduated equal first in her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Sydney University in 1988 before completing her Masters Degree in Orthodontics at Adelaide University in 1998.
She believes it is important to stay at the cutting edge of orthodontics and has a strong belief in utilising growth, where possible, to increase the orthodontic treatment options and resulting outcome. In her practice, she has developed her own indirect bonding technique to improve the accuracy of bracket placement and enhance patient comfort. The practice also offers the option of aligner treatment, where suitable.
Dr Barva is currently the Congress Convenor for the upcoming ASO Congress to be held in Adelaide in 2024.
