Dr Freezer having graduated as a dentist, then continued and completed his studies to become a specialist orthodontist from the University of Adelaide. He has operated his own specialist practice in Adelaide since that time.
Currently he teaches the next generation of orthodontists, having been a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics as well as a research supervisor at the University of Adelaide for many years.
Dr Freezer has been frequently published in orthodontic textbooks and journals and has been invited to lecture in Australia and Internationally. He was awarded the most prestigious research award of the ASO, the PR Begg Research Award in 1988.
Dr Freezer has been an active member of several state and national orthodontic associations. He is a past president of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (SA), an honorary life member of the Australasian Begg Society of Orthodontists, and a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
